Peggy Stafford passed away peacefully on September 28, 2026. She was the daughter of the late L.V. and Josephine Parks Pye and the loving wife of the late Samuel Stafford.
Peggy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She was dearly loved by many and will be truly missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Kristie Owens (Darrel); grandchildren, Shelbie Hyatt (Shawn) and DJ Williams (Hunter); 5 great grandchildren, twins: Aubrey-Leigh and Hadley-Lane Hyatt, Preston Chase Williams, Presleigh-Marie Williams, and Piper Anita-Jane Williams; brother, Doug Pye (Joan); as well as many loved extended family members and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Peggy is preceded in death by her lifelong friends, Joe and Janet Hawkins.
The family will have a private celebration of life.
