Rebecca Elizabeth Stacy, passed away June 6, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Edgar and Delcie Weddington Brunty.
Born in Pike County, Kentucky, Rebecca grew up in a large family surrounded by many siblings. She graduated from Wirt County High School in West Virginia and carried the values of hard work, compassion and dedication with her throughout her life. Rebecca was proud to be one of the founding members of Miracle-Ear, where she devoted many years of service. Her commitment to helping others hear and connect with the world reflected the caring nature that defined her life. Outside of her professional accomplishments, she found joy in simple pleasures and meaningful connections. She loved spending time at the beach, where she found peace and happiness. She was also an exceptional baker, known for her delicious cookies and homemade candies. Rebecca even enjoyed managing the local pool, not for recognition, but because it allowed her to be an active part of her community. Above all else, she loved people. Her capacity for caring seemed limitless. She never met a stranger and had an extraordinary gift for making others feel valued, accepted and loved. She will be remembered for her generosity, her unwavering love for others, her joyful spirit and the countless lives she touched.
She is survived by her children, Robert Stacy, Esq. (Ashley) and Cynthia Mosley; grandchildren, Dr. Brianne Elizabeth Mosley (Corey Miller), Bryce Andrew Mosley, Genevieve Avigail Stacy, Chloe Jones, Maddison Doster, Darian Voelker; siblings, Elton and Noah Brunty; as well as many other loved cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Jane, Stella, Deloris, Linda, Paul, Hansford “Bud”, Kenneth “Kenny”, and one sibling who passed in infancy; the father of her children, Bobby Lee Stacy; and a deeply loved, Don Stambough.
