Spartanburg Community College has launched a new one-year cosmetology program at its Tyger River Campus, featuring a modern salon-style floor and instructional labs. The program has 36 enrolled students and offers comprehensive training in hair design, skincare and nail technology, with the opportunity to work directly with clients in the college's on-campus clinic. The program has partnered with Salon Centric, a Florida-based company owned by L'Oréal, for its salon-grade products. The college hopes to enroll 20 new students each semester.
