A single vehicle crash on Hwy. 101 at Old Woodruff Road resulted in the death of one person. The incident occurred on Sunday morning around 2:40am when a 2009 Lexus sedan ran off the left side of the road, struck a ditch and overturned. The driver died at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been released by the Spartanburg County Coroner's Office. The crash is under investigation by the SC Highway Patrol.
