Dunlap Media Group is hosting a ribbon-cutting event for GreerNews.com, its third outlet, which includes daily news, sports, crime reports, obituaries, photo galleries, a local events calendar, and lifestyle coverage. The event will take place at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 7, outside the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce on Trade Street. The event is free to the public, and attendees are asked to arrive at 9:45 a.m. GreerNews.com went live on Monday, Aug. 4.

Dunlap Media Group has launched GreerNews.com, a digital-only news source for Greer, SC. The site will provide daily news, sports, crime reports, obituaries, photo galleries, local events calendar, and lifestyle coverage. GreerNews.com will be led by Regional Editor Trey Stewart, formerly a sports editor at The Greer Citizen, and reporter Breanna Laws, a Wake Forest University graduate. The site will offer three email newsletters, including a Daily Headlines newsletter, a Taste of Greer newsletter, and a weekly sports newsletter.
