The Greenville Area Development Corporation (GADC) in South Carolina has secured $725m in new investments from nine organisations in 2025, which will provide 1,293 new job opportunities for residents in Greenville County. The investments represent 8% of the state's $9.15bn in capital investments and 16% of its 8,100 new jobs. The GADC focuses on attracting companies that offer higher-wage job opportunities and providing resources to existing businesses to retain and recruit top local talent. The nine wins in 2025 include national and international companies from four countries, with 89% in the GADC's target industries.

The City of Greer, South Carolina is expected to continue to attract new capital investment, high-paying jobs, and projects that enhance the quality of life of its residents. The city closed 2025 with an unemployment rate of 4.3%, which is lower than the current unemployment rates in Greenville County and Spartanburg County. The city also saw significant positive absorption of available industrial product, with 12 new projects representing new industrial start-ups, relocations, and expansions. The city's gross retail sales topped $2 billion in FY 2025, a 25% increase over the prior year. New housing development remains strong, with 13 active subdivisions under construction.

OneSpartanburg, Inc. successfully recruited 20 economic development projects to Spartanburg County and the City of Spartanburg, resulting in a total of $3.5 billion in capital investment and the creation of 1,024 new job opportunities. The investment total equates to about $9.6 million being invested in Spartanburg County each day over the course of the year. The projects include NorthMark Strategies' $2.8 billion investment to create a high-performance computing center, AIRSYS Cooling Technologies' $40 million investment to bring its global headquarters to Spartanburg County, and Woodward, Inc.'s $200 million investment to establish operations in Spartanburg County.

Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) has opened its new Parking Garage C and consolidated rental car facility, adding 750 public parking spaces and 750 ready-return rental car spots. The $97 million project is aimed at improving overall customer experience and preparing for continued growth in 2026. GSP drives an annual regional economic impact exceeding $4 billion, and the airport's growth makes Greenville an even more attractive investment opportunity. Long-term plans include expanding the commercial terminal in 2029-30.
