LEO Santa, a nonprofit organization, has partnered with first responders, volunteers, businesses, and schools in Greenville and Spartanburg counties to deliver thousands of toys to over 7,000 children in need. The event is not just about providing toys but also about building relationships and trust between law enforcement and the communities they serve. The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office stated that events like LEO Santa are about showing up, building relationships, and continuing to rebuild trust between law enforcement and the communities they serve.

The Blue Ridge High School Athletic Booster Club held its first annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb Challenge on Saturday morning. With a little over 20 participants, the challenge kicked off just before 9 a.m. Attendees took time to remember the victims and first responders of 9/11, while simultaneously supporting young athletes at the school.
