Each year, LEO Santa partners with first responders, volunteers, businesses and schools in Greenville and Spartanburg counties to deliver toys to children newborn to age 12.
Fountain Inn firefighters, the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, Mauldin Police and Fire departments, Spartanburg Sheriff’s Office, the Greenville County Fire Association and many others collected toys for children in need.
According to nonprofit, LEO Santa, earlier this week, volunteers with the support of community partners and donors, delivered thousands of toys to more than 7,000 children in Greenville and Spartanburg counties.
“Events like LEO Santa are about more than toys,” a recent statement by Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office said. “They’re about showing up, building relationships and continuing to rebuild trust between law enforcement and the communities we serve – one interaction at a time. We’re grateful to everyone who helped make this meaningful outreach possible and proud to stand alongside a community that truly cares.”
