The Greer Cultural Arts Division will hold its annual Gingerbread Jamboree competition on Dec. 9, featuring live music, student artwork and a gingerbread house gallery. The event will also include a student pottery sale, with the Center for the Arts hosting its first-ever art sale for its students. The Carolina Bronze Handbell Ensemble will perform at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.

The Greer Center for the Arts is hosting Santa Central, a multicultural Santa event, on Saturday. The event will feature three Santas of different races for families to choose from, including a Black Santa, a Hispanic Santa and a white Santa. The event aims to give every child the opportunity to see themselves represented in Santa Claus. In addition to time with Santa, there will be a small kids' craft and gingerbread houses on display. The event is free to the public and will be held on Saturday, December 6, from 12-6 p.m.
