The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) will begin construction on a roundabout project at the intersection of Gap Creek Road and Gary Armstrong Road in Spartanburg County on December 8. The construction will cause intermittent road closures on Gary Armstrong Road and Hamilton Road, and drivers are advised to seek alternate routes. Detour signs will be placed throughout the area. Construction is expected to be completed in Fall 2026.
