A 73-year-old woman, Sandra Gail Cothran, died from injuries sustained after being struck by a vehicle on January 8, 2026, at the intersection of Wade Hampton Blvd and Saint Mark Rd in Taylors. She was transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries on January 17, 2026. The incident is still being investigated by the Greenville County Coroner's Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
