A 73-year-old woman has died from injuries sustained when she was struck by a vehicle on January 8, 2026 at the intersections of Wade Hampton Blvd and Saint Mark Rd in Taylors, according to the Greenville County Coroner’s Office.
Shortly after 10:30 pm on January 8, the Greenville County Coroner's Office was made aware of a pedestrian that was struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian was transported by emergency medical services to Greenville Memorial Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries on January 17, 2026.
The victim has been identified as Sandra Gail Cothran, of Taylors.
This incident continues to be investigated by the Greenville County Coroner's Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
