Bobby Cox, outgoing representative for the South Carolina House District 21, has announced the suspension of his Senate campaign. Filing is open for S.C. Senate District 12 and House District 21 through Saturday, September 6. Party primaries for the election, if necessary, will be Oct. 21, with the special election occurring on Dec. 23.
