A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Wade Hampton Blvd. near Reid School Rd. on Monday morning. The driver of the 2011 Ford Escape was not injured, and the pedestrian died at the scene. The incident is under investigation by the SC Highway Patrol.
