The Eagles dropped to 3-2 on the year and 0-2 in region play with the loss.
Riverside 41, Wade Hampton 15
A much needed rebound performance for Riverside who came in having lost three straight. The Warriors never trailed en route to a victory on the road, improving to 2-3 on the season and 1-1 in region play with the win.
Dorman 33, Byrnes 21
Byrnes fell victim again to self-inflicted errors and turnovers on Friday night, falling 33-21 to Dorman in front of a packed Nixon Field crowd.
Byrnes lost the turnover battle 3-0 and threw a costly second-quarter pick-six that put Dorman in the lead for good.
With the loss, the Rebels fall to 3-2 on the season and 1-1 in 5-A Region 2 play.
