Last weekend, Eastside High School hosted its 13th edition of the Chick-Fil-A Games, hosting 28 schools across the state.

Several Greer-area track-and-field stars shined in the event. Here are some notable results from Greer-area teams and athletes.

Greer:

Greer's Keyshaun Foster set the all-time Chick-Fil-A Games meet record in the 400m, finishing with a time of 48.93 seconds. That mark was half a second faster than the previous record-holder: Greer legend Troy Pride, Jr.

Blue Ridge:

Alex Munguia set the all-time Chick-Fil-A Games meet record in the 100m, finishing with a time of 10.74.

Presley Harkins, a freshman, earned third place in the high jump 

Makenna Forrester earned first place in the 100m hurdles

Myla Wyatt, an 8th grader, earned first in the 100m for JV.

Eastside:

Ayla Cook, Harper Whitson, Elizabeth Holt, Keira Cook earned first place as a team in the 4x800m

Christian Snell earned second place in the 3200m.

Darren Rickenbacker earned third in discus.

Riverside:

Evan Schaff ran the 400m with an impressive time of 49.73.

DeAnne Lewis, a 7th grader, set PRs in the 100m (13.51), the 200m (26.94), and the long jump (4.32m).

Greer Middle College:

Sophomore Ella Hammon broke the meet record in the 1600m with a time of 5:08. This also broke GMC's school record of 5:14 that was previously set by Hattie Jennings in 2023. Hammon also finished 2nd in the 800m later in the day.
 
All of GMC's girls made an appearance on the podium in the 1600m.
1st - Ella Hammon (Sophomore)
5th - Sierra Connor (Senior)
7th - Lexie Shenton (Senior). 
 
In the JV Girls Division, Natalie Dentler (7th grade) finished 3rd, Annie Martin (Junior) finished 6th and Audrey Westmoreland (Freshman) finished 7th.
 
Ally Hyman (Freshman) finished 2nd in the 3200m with senior Lowndes Smith finishing 7th.
 
Byrnes:
 
The Rebels didn't compete in the Chick-Fil-A games, instead competing at the Diamond Hornet Invitation at Lower Richland High School.
 
Choo Harris set a personal best time in the 100m with a time of 10.61, while Aidyn Wiggins ran an impressive 10.81.
 
The 4x100 team (Harris, Wiggins, Jacobi Fuller, Abram Burroughs) ran a 41.56 which is currently second in the state.
