The Greer Touchdown Club honored on Thursday its Players of the Week for games played on Oct. 10. 

The Offensive Player of the Week award went to Calvin McCoy of Greer High School. McCoy rushed 23 times for 245 yards and three touchdowns in Greer's 61-21 win over Blue Ridge.

The Defensive Player of the Week award went to Owen Downs of Riverside. Downs had 13 tackles, one tackle for loss, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in Riverside's 49-36 win over Eastside.

The Lineman of the Week award went to Tyler Hanson of Greer. Hanson graded out at 78 percent, collecting six knockdowns and also playing some wideout - racking up four catches for 56 yards.

The Greer Touchdown Club meets every Thursday during the football season at His Vineyard Church in Greer, and the public is invited. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $16.
