Three great innings of relief pitching from Cameron Morgan, a massive home run from Houston Lancaster, and the game-winning RBI from Aiden Babb powered the Tigers to their second win of the season in a thrilling 5-4 triumph over the Knights.

Blue Ridge 17, High Point 1 (FINAL/4)

Senior Bella Ballenger struck out 11 batters and hit a 2-RBI double in the bottom of the second as the Lady Tigers cruised to a 2-0 record on the year. 

Byrnes 17, Clover 7 (FINAL/6)

Yes, that's a softball score and not a football final.

The Lady Rebel bats woke up in a big way on Wednesday after being shut out by Crescent on Monday night.

The top of the Byrnes order (Addy Waters, Memorie Melton, Haven Holmes) combined for seven hits and eight RBIs as the Lady Rebels scored the final 11 runs of the game to win.

GIRLS SOCCER

Blue Ridge 2, Broome 1

Midfielders Lillian Carter and Edie Andry were the goalscorers as the Lady Tigers improved to 3-1 on the year.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Riverside 7, T.L. Hanna 2 

Riverside goalie Emily Underwood had eight saves and held a shutout until the final five minutes of the game. Kaitlyn Rogers racked up two goals and one assist, while Addison Long had two goals of her own.

Cy Marie Covington secured two ground balls, three draw controls, and won 62% of draws. The Lady Warriors are now 3-0 on the season.

Riverside JV girls lacrosse downed TL Hanna in a 7-6 thriller, led by five goals from Avery Busold.
