As October rolls in, the Upstate is teeming with fall activities sure to get you in the festive mood. Here’s a list of various attractions and events happening this month, all family-friendly and within 30 minutes of Greer. 

Events:

Greer Arts & Eats Festival | Downtown Greer

  • Date: Saturday, Oct. 4, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

  • Includes: Food and artisan vendors, live music and kids’ activities

Artisan Makers Market | Greer City Park

  • Date: Saturday, Oct. 18, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

  • Includes: Artisan vendors, food and live music

Attractions:

Famoda Farm Festival | 3 Camp Creek Road Ext., Taylors

  • Open Thursday through Sunday, Hours available on website

  • Includes: Corn maze, pumpkin patch, petting zoo and a jumping pillow

Thompson Family Farms | 1390 Chumley Rd, Campobello

  • Open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Includes: Pumpkin patch, fall flower garden

Greyrock Farms & Green Acres Produce | 271 Switzer Green Pond Rd, Woodruff

  • Hours: Sunday, 1-6 p.m.; Monday-Friday, 10:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

  • Includes: Corn maze, pumpkin patch, playground and farm stand

Denver Downs Farm | 1515 Denver Rd, Anderson

  • Open Friday through Sunday, Hours available on website

  • Includes: Corn maze, pumpkin patch, hayrides, a petting zoo, pig races and more

Stewart Farms | 6600 Hwy 92, Enoree

  • Open Friday through Sunday, Hours available on website

  • Includes: Corn maze, pumpkin patch and wagon rides (daytime and haunted nighttime rides)
