The excitement for the new fall season is still abuzz in the Upstate, with plenty of events and performances to keep that after-school boredom away. Here are five live music performances coming to Greer and Taylors to get you through the weekend.

Rhythm Jab at Wild Ace | Thursday, Oct. 9, 6 p.m.

  • Part of Wild Ace Pizza & Pub’s Fall Music Series, Greenville-based variety band Rhythm Jab will be performing this Thursday evening. Rhythm Jab marks the fifth performance of the series, which is now over halfway complete.

Alex Hawkins at Cartwright Food Hall | Friday, Oct. 10, 6 p.m.

  • Cartwright Food Hall always brings out great musicians and artists while serving customers at one of its several restaurants. Come out this Friday to see Alex Hawkins perform while enjoying dinner.

Brittani Angel’s Pink Party Takeover | Friday, Oct. 10, 7 p.m.

  • The Lake Cunningham Fire Department is hosting Pink Party for a Cure on Friday at Ollie’s Tavern, featuring live performances by Brittani Angel. All proceeds for the event will support the Berea Fire Department Pink Trunk, which helps raise awareness for breast cancer.

Taylor Corum at The Southern Growl | Saturday, Oct. 11, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

  • Taylor Corum is a country music artist coming out of Knoxville, Tenn. Catch his performance at The Southern Growl on Saturday.

Burning Bridges at 3 Friends Bar & Grill | Saturday, Oct. 11, 7 p.m.

  • Come see Upstate-based variety band Burning Bridges at 3 Friends Bar & Grill (2801 Wade Hampton Blvd) in Taylors this Saturday.
