Whether you’re looking to sing your heart out or learn a new gardening skill, there’s always something to do in the Upstate. Here are some events happening in Greer and Taylors throughout the rest of the week.
Skate Night at Roller Sports Skating Rink | Wednesday, Sept. 17, 6-8 p.m.
Come out for a night of glow-in-the-dark skating fun at Roller Sports Skating Rink in Taylors (328 W Main St.). Proceeds from ticket and glow stick sales benefit PTA projects at East North Street Academy. Tickets are cash only and available for purchase at the rink.
Sea Shanty Sing Along | Thursday, Sept. 18, 7-9 p.m.
Join 13 Stripes Brewery in Taylors (250 Mill St.) for their monthly sea shanty sing-along event. The event is open to all ages, according to the venue’s Facebook page.
Understanding Soil Mixes at Greer Library | Friday, Sept. 19, 4:40 p.m.
Drop in for a short, 30-minute class on soil mixes at Greer Library (505 Pennsylvania Ave.). The class is taught by Padula's Plants and Garden Design, and will cover the fundamentals of making nature-based soil mixes.
Growlfest 2025 | Saturday, Sept. 20, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Come out to The Southern Growl (155 N Buncombe Rd) for their 9th annual Growlfest. Attendees can enjoy a variety of seasonal and guest beers. Wear a dirndl or lederhosen to receive a discount on your first specialty beer.
