Byrnes High School’s Jordan Miller is the GreerNews.com Athlete of the Week, presented by D&D Motors.
Voting opened Monday and remained open until noon on Wednesday. Voters were able to cast a ballot once per day during the campaign.
Miller has gone 5-0 in team duals for the Rebels so far, including three victories by pinfall and a pin against a returning state finalist.
Nominees for the week of Dec. 8-14 included Miller, Opal Maralit of Blue Ridge, and Owen Bishop of Greer.Â
The GreerNews.com Athlete of the Week is a weekly initiative that will run 32 weeks during the 2025-2026 school year. Athletes from Greer, Byrnes, Riverside, Eastside, Greer Middle College, and Blue Ridge are eligible.
