Voting opens Monday at noon for the GreerNews.com Athlete of the Week, presented by D&D Motors.
Voting will remain open until noon on Wednesday, Oct. 15. Voters can cast a ballot once per day during the campaign.

Chase Free, Greer football
Free got the chance to shine on both sides of the ball in Greer's 61-21 win over Blue Ridge on Friday night.
Free came up with two interceptions at his usual safety position (giving him three in the last two games) and also rushed for a touchdown.
Susan Seeley, Eastside swimming
Eastside girls swimming brought home its eighth state championship in 10 years on Thursday, but the junior Seeley was especially brilliant.
Seeley finished as a gold medalist in Eastside's 200 free, 400 free, 200 free relay and 400 free relay races at the state championships.
Gideon Merhib, Riverside football
Merhib is playing his best football of the season as Riverside looks to make a playoff push.
In the Warriors' 49-36 win over Eastside on Friday night, Merhib was 20-23 passing for 290 passing yards and five touchdowns.
The GreerNews.com Athlete of the Week will be a weekly initiative that will run 32 weeks during the 2025-2026 school year.
