Voting opens Monday at 5pm for the GreerNews.com Athlete of the Week, presented by D&D Motors.
Voting will remain open until 5pm on Wednesday, March 4. Voters can cast a ballot once per day during the campaign.

Nominees for the week of Feb. 23-March 1 are:
Lydia Parker, Eastside girls soccer
Parker, a senior, scored two goals and racked up three assists over four wins for the Lady Eagles this weekend as Eastside captured the Sabalier Classic Championship.
Luke Godfrey, Greer baseball
Godfrey had a game to remember over the weekend vs. Pendleton. Godfrey tossed five innings on the mound, striking out nine and allowing no runs. At the plate, he went 3-5 with two RBIs, including the walk-off RBI in the 10th inning of Greer's 2-1 win.
Mia Gallello, Riverside softball
Gallello was stellar on the mound for the Lady Warriors in this weekend's Snowball Classic tournament. In the championship game against host team Hillcrest, Gallello pitched a complete game with 12 strikeouts, allowing no runs in a 5-0 win.
The GreerNews.com Athlete of the Week will be a weekly initiative that will run 32 weeks during the 2025-2026 school year.
