A new hotel has opened in Greer for residents’ furry companions.
Buster and Rascal’s Cat Hotel celebrated its grand opening in the community on Thursday, Oct. 1. The boarding facility, designed specifically for cats, is located at 105 Hunt St., Suite E, and offers several different suite options.
“I have always had a love for cats, even as a young child. And I’m going to take care of your cat the way I would want my cat taken care of,” said owner Taylor Osborne. “I'm just excited to see what the future holds for us here at this facility, and I'm looking forward to all the cats that come through our doors.”
For pet parents who need to board their cats overnight, there are three suite options to choose from. Each suite comes with toys, climbing shelves and a 24/7 webcam for owners to watch their cats.
Osborne says the hotel was named after two important cats in her life — Buster, an outgoing, playful kitty, and Rascal, a more skittish kitty. Both cats lived into their 20s.
“They kind of ingrained in me a passion for cats, so I just took that and ran with it,” Osborne said.
