Labor Day is almost here, and Upstate families have plenty of ways to enjoy the holiday.
Here are five ways to spend the long weekend in Greer and Lyman:
Music on the Hill | Thursday, Sept. 3, 7-9 p.m.
The Town of Lyman is kicking off its Music on the Hill concert series this Thursday with The Magic Momentz. The free, family-friendly event will be held at the Lyman Amphitheater behind Allison Park (146 Community St.).
Live Music at The Southern Growl | Saturday, Sept. 5, 7 p.m.
The Southern Growl will host Next of Kin Rock Band on Saturday for a night of live music. Next of Kin is based out of Spartanburg.
Greer Farmers Market Sports Day | Sunday, Sept. 6, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Greer Farmers Market is continuing its core season on Sunday with its Sports Day market. Representatives with the Prisma Health Performance Center will be on site providing sports activities for kids. Sikorski Yoga will also teach a yoga class.
Music Bingo at Trade Street Social | Monday, Sept. 7, 7-10 p.m.
Trade Street Social will host its weekly music bingo on Labor Day, beginning at 7 p.m. The game is free to play and comes with the chance to win prizes.
Lake Robinson and Lake Cunningham Open | All weekend
For families looking to get outside over the weekend, both of Greer’s lakes will be open this weekend for visitors. Lake Robinson and Lake Cunningham are both open from sunrise to sunset. For more information on lake rules, visit Greer CPW’s website
