Summer is here, and the kids are out of school in Greer. Here’s a look at some nearby options for families looking to cool off by the water.

Century Park Water Misters

While not a full splash pad, Century Park in Greer has three small arches that will mist water for children to run through. Perfect for families who don’t want to get into full swim gear while still cooling down.

Tyger River Park Splash Pad

Tyger River Park in Duncan has a large splash pad area that is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. The splash pad is in a fenced-in area with plenty of seating for parents, and a playground is located nearby.

Shipwreck Cove Waterpark

Duncan’s Shipwreck Cove is a local waterpark offering multiple water slides, a lazy river and a kiddie pool area. The park is located at 119 South Spencer Street in Duncan and is open seven days per week. For more information, visit https://www.shipwreckcovepark.com. 

Otter Creek Waterpark

Greenville County Recreation’s Otter Creek is a local waterpark with a large pool, four water slides and a splash pad. Community members can also enjoy concessions, tanning chairs and shaded seating.
