Sisters Erin Desoto and Kelly Warde, along with their mother Doreen Warde, celebrated the grand opening of their beauty salon and spa with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday.
Erin Desoto and Kelly Warde opened the doors to Reputation Collective two months ago, both fans of the central location of Greer. Their mother, Doreen Warde, acts as the business manager for the salon — a space staffed by seven women specializing in a range of services.
“It doesn't feel real, because we talked about it for so long,” said Kelly. “We’ve all worked in a fair amount of places before we ended up here, and we want to take what we learned and create what was missing.”

Reputation Collective offers a wide range of services, from haircuts and color, to waxing, sugaring, and even facials. The team at the salon aims to provide a high-end experience, from the reclining chairs by their shampoo bowls to the dimly lit spa rooms.
“You can come in, and you don’t have to feel like you’re anything,” Erin said. “I want to feel high-end without it being snooty. Regardless, just come as you are, relax, be yourself and enjoy.”
Erin and Kelly bring over two decades of combined experience in the hair and aesthetics industries. The sisters’ shared passion for beauty services began early in their lives, particularly for Erin.
When she was around nine years old, she received a hairdresser kit for Christmas and gave then eight-year-old Kelly a haircut. Kelly’s interest in aesthetics emerged in high school, prompting the duo to discuss opening a salon together.
After earning their degrees at the request of their parents, the two went into trade programs for their specialties — Erin in hair, and Kelly in aesthetics. Since then, they haven’t looked back.
“[Knowing] that they could actually make something of it, it was exciting,” said Doreen. “It was definitely something that I looked forward to for them.”

In the future, the team hopes to grow their services and offer hair and skincare classes to the community. For now, though, they’re focused on building their clientele and welcoming people into their salon.
“If there’s anything we want everyone to know, it’s that we are an inclusive space, and we’re here for everyone,” Erin said. “We’d love to meet everybody in the community.”
