Coach Heather Perry has been named the next head volleyball coach at Blue Ridge High School.
Perry brings more than two decades of coaching experience at both the middle and high school levels, along with a proven track record of developing successful teams and student-athletes.
Throughout her career, Perry has served as a varsity head coach in volleyball and softball and spent five years as a middle school head basketball coach. Her leadership has resulted in numerous team accolades, including multiple district championships and playoff runs.
Perry has helped prepare student-athletes to compete beyond the high school level, as well. Under Perry’s guidance, eight volleyball athletes and five softball athletes have advanced to play collegiate athletics. Her dedication to student development has also earned her recognition as Greenville County Coach of the Year.
A former collegiate athlete herself, Perry attended Lander University on a softball scholarship. Perry says she's excited to join the Blue Ridge community and looks forward to building a volleyball program rooted in hard work, accountability, teamwork, and pride in representing Blue Ridge High School.
“I’m incredibly excited to join the Blue Ridge family," said Perry. "I'm excited to build a volleyball program that competes on the highest level with passion and hard work that represents our school with pride.”
