Alma Jean Messer Lister, 88, of Taylors, South Carolina, wife of the late Robert “Bob” Lister, passed away September 4, 2026.
A native of Greenville County, South Carolina, daughter of the late Clarence and Alma Messer formerly of Simpsonville, South Carolina and was a member of Hampton Heights Baptist Church.
She is survived by one sister, Joyce Fowler of Greenville; one daughter, Pamela Weathers of Taylors; one stepson, Mark Lister.
Alma was predeceased by one sister, Sula Mae Cox; three brothers, Lewis, Shervin and Kenneth Messer; and two stepsons, Jimmy and Martin Lister.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Sept. 16 at Wood Memorial Park, conducted by Dr. Keith Kelly.
