Angela Kennedy Dalenta passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Francis and Geraldine Cowick Kennedy and the loving wife of 34 years to Jerry Dalenta.
Angela was a loving and compassionate woman whose life was marked by her caring heart and devotion to others. She built a career as a registered nurse and truly loved her profession. She was a member of Sharon Methodist Church and cherished her faith and church family. Angela found great joy in the simple things in life. She enjoyed crocheting and especially loved spending time with her beloved cats. She had a deep love for animals of all kinds and could often be found feeding the birds and caring for the creatures around her. She was, in every sense, a true animal lover.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Adam Vinson and Julie Vinson Hamrick (Josh); and her grandchildren, Stella, Isiah, Jordan, and Ethan Hamrick.
Angela is preceded in death by her siblings, Robert Kennedy, Sue Yow, Tootsie Bishop, and Geri Bishop.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Aug. 26 at Sharon Methodist Church. A celebration of life will begin at 3 p.m. with interment immediately following in the church cemetery.
