Brenda Lee Seppala Niemitalo, 61, wife of the late Bruce Duane Niemitalo, passed away September 3, 2026.
A native of Winchendon, Massachusetts, daughter of Eileen Stauffeneker Seppala of Greer and the late Arnold Seppala, she was a homemaker and a member of Eastside Apostolic Lutheran Church.
Also surviving are three daughters, Nicole Knuuttila (Jacob), Jessica Sarkela and Bethany Goddard (Justin) all of Lyman; three sons, Malachi Niemitalo (Kimberlee), Michael Niemitalo, and Miles Niemitalo all of Lyman; four brothers, Warren Seppala, Jerome Seppala, Marcus Seppala, and Scott Seppala; four sisters, Faye Kulla of New Hampshire, Beth Coponen, Rachel Karlsen, and Virginia Kuusisto of Greer; and eight grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two daughters, Natalie Niemitalo and Carly Niemitalo, a son, Max Niemitalo, two brothers, Barry Seppala and Gabriel Seppala, and a sister, Alison Salo.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sept. 9 at Eastside Apostolic Lutheran Church conducted by Pastor Dan Hoard, Pastor Caleb Maumu, and Mr. Paul Smallwood. A private family burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
