Bryan Derek “Big Funky” Wilson, 45, passed away June 27, 2026.
A native of Marion, North Carolina, son of Bryan Wade and Joy Smith Wilson of Marion, North Carolina, he was a 2003 graduate of Erskine College where he was a member of the baseball team and a member of Lake Bowen Baptist Church.
Also surviving are his wife, Kristen Mabus Wilson of the home; twin daughters, Brantley Grace Wilson and Brynnley Faith Wilson both of the home; and a sister, Alicia Dell Wilson of Wilmington, North Carolina.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. July 2 at The Wood Mortuary, Greer, South Carolina, conducted by Pastor Bill Harris.
Visitation will be held from 2:15-3:45 p.m. July 2, at The Wood Mortuary, Greer, South Carolina.
The family is at the home.
