Carmen Cordero-Rivera Hawkins, 29, of Greer, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2026 while surrounded by her family. She is the wife of David James Hawkins. and the daughter of Gabriel and Gloria Cordero.
Carmen was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, painting and drawing. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her brothers, Armando Cordero-Rivera, Alfredo Cordero, and Adrian Cordero-Rivera; her sister, Camila Cordero-Rivera; her mother-in-law, Dorothy (Scott) James; and her brother-in-law, Caleb Dobbins.
A celebration of Carmen’s life will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. with the service beginning at 2 p.m. Aug. 1 at Living Waters Funeral Home & Crematory, 529 Spartanburg Hwy. S., Lyman, SC 29365. Pastor Keith Kelly will officiate.
