Charles Scott Brewer, 62, of Greer, South Carolina, passed away at home on June 21, 2026. He was born in an ambulance in Tampa, Florida on April 17, 1964, to Helen Plumley Parrott and Kenneth Brewer.
Scott graduated from Clemson University in 1990 with a degree in Ceramic Engineering and spent his career in various fields as a manager. He will be remembered for his kind and giving heart and his sincere devotion to his family.
He is survived by his siblings, Sherry Brewer Hampton of Greer, Sharon Johnson (George) of Lyman, Charles W. Parrott IV “Peanut” of Greer, Lisa Parrott of Greenville, and Bryan Brewer (Sonya) of Tennessee; a cousin, Deborah Kay Campbell of Greer; and many nieces and nephews with whom he was very close to and treated as his own children.
Mr. Brewer was predeceased by his parents and an older brother, Steve Plumley.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. June 24 at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Charles Parrott. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 10:45 a.m. June 24 at The Wood Mortuary.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Johnson, Tyler Kotewa, Chase Parrott, Josh Parrott, Javon Barahona, Jorge Barahona, Austin Bradley, and Jose Paz.
