Dicie Inez Liner passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on June 22, 2026. Dicie was the daughter of the late James and Inez Wright Woodson and the loving wife of the late Thomas Liner Jr.
Dicie found her greatest joy in being surrounded by her family and was happiest when spending time with those she loved. She rarely spent a moment alone, always wanting to be with her children, grandchildren, and loved ones. She was a devoted mother and faithfully supported her boys in their baseball endeavors. Dicie attended every game, home and away, and proudly served as the team's scorekeeper. Her love was unwavering and her encouragement left lasting impacts. Dicie loved the outdoors; especially treasured family trips to the beach. She also enjoyed visiting the mountains, camping, and waterskiing, creating lasting memories along the way. She was a fan of classic country music and enjoyed attending concerts of legendary country music artists. She loved the timeless songs and stories of traditional country music. Dicie was a wonderful mother and exceptional cook who could express her love through homemade biscuits and home-canned goods. Her kitchen was often the heart of family gatherings, filled with warmth, laughter and the comfort of a meal prepared with love. Her kindness, dedication and deep love for her family will be cherished and remembered always.
She is survived by her children, Nancy Cuthbertson (Herb), James Liner (Debra), Donny Liner, Mike Liner (Bev), Karen Powell (Scott Hughes), Debra Cooper (Scott), David Liner (Mary Beth), and Sandy Liner; grandchildren, Brittany Harvey (Daniel), Jacob Cooper, Haley Powell, Vance Powell (Amy), Meredith Liner, Annie Powell (Jay), Miles Liner, Jamie Liner, and Amberly Liner; great grandchildren, Cooper Harvey, Nora Harvey, Bryson Powell, and Baby Powell on the way.
Dicie is preceded in death by her beloved son, Bobby.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. June 26 at Living Waters Funeral Home & Crematory. A celebration of life will begin at 4 p.m. Rev. Malcolm Lance and Rev. Scott Cooper will officiate.
