Donald Earl Johnson, 77, passed away June 29, 2026.
A native of Spartanburg County, a son of the late Jamie and Lillian Gregory Johnson; he was an inspector at Michelin Tire Company for forty-two years; and a member of Praise Cathedral.
Surviving are his wife, Kathy Copeland Johnson, of the home; three sons, Mickey Johnson (Regina) of Taylors, Alan Johnson (Joy) of Greer, and Hayden Johnson of the home; one brother, Roy Johnson of Greensboro, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Mason Johnson, Hunter Johnson, Sydney Johnson and Preston Johnson; and one great-grandson, Grant Johnson.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. July 3 at Praise Cathedral, conducted by Pastor Jerry Madden and Pastor Bobby Johnson. Burial will be private.
A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. July 3 at Praise Cathedral.
Pallbearers will be Mason Johnson, Hunter Johnson, Preston Johnson, Evan Raines, Rick Wilder and Michael Douglas.
