Doris Peace Nodine, 97, wife of the late Roy Nodine, passed away August 17, 2026.
A native of Greenville County, South Carolina, daughter of the late Cleveland and Annie Pittman Peace, she was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Surviving are three children, Cleve Owens of Campobello, Frankie Nodine (Jan) of Inman, and Donnie Nodine (Freda) of Leicester, North Carolina; six grandchildren, Kaja Fisher, Angie Davis, Jason Nodine, Jeremy Nodine, Shana Moore, and Jill Gillespie; five great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Nodine was predeceased by two brothers, Winfred Peace and Clinton “Bill” Peace and a sister Betty Sudduth.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 21 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Rick Shurbert. Burial will follow in Motlow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held after the service at the church.
The family will be at the home of her son, Cleve Owens.
