With heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of Frank Morris Babb on August 20, 2026, at the age of 78.

Born Aug. 3, 1948, in Greer, South Carolina, he led a life defined by service, strength and profound devotion to his family who affectionately referred to him as “Pops”.

Frank leaves behind a distinguished legacy that includes honorable service in the United States Army, a successful engineering career at Marshall & Williams, and a fulfilling retirement from DSI.

Surviving are his sister, Joyce McGlothlin; two daughters, Samantha Goodlett and Morgan Holcombe; four grandchildren, Trey Goodlett, AJ Henderson, Johnathan Henderson, and Lisa Hill; and a great-grandchild, Liam Goodlett.

Mr. Babb was predeceased by his wife, Patricia M. Babb; his parents, Gentry and Mamie Babb; and two brothers, Harold Babb and Thomas Babb.

He will be greatly missed and forever remembered in the hearts of all he knew him.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 25 at Wood Memorial Park conducted by Dr. Keith Kelly.
