Joyce Dianne Dangerfield Howard, 81, wife of the late Marion Henry “Bud” Howard, passed away March 25, 2026.
A native of Monks Corner, South Carolina, daughter of the late Lewis Dangerfield, late Doris Coker Dangerfield, she was a retired employee of Travelers Rest High School, owner of Dinky Corner, assisted her husband at Jordan Processing, and was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Todd Howard (Ashley) of Travelers Rest; a daughter, Patty Sanders of Spartanburg; a brother, Larry Dangerfield (Lucy) of Summerville; five grandchildren, Jenna Howard, Cole Howard, Luke Howard, Mandy Derrick, and Brandy Bates; and three great-grandchildren, Brianna Tucker, Jasia Bates, and Bella Derrick.
She was predeceased by a son, Joel Ray Howard and a son-in-law, Jack Sanders.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. March 29 at Double Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held after service at the cemetery.
