Linda Deshields Friel, 67, of Lyman, South Carolina, wife of the late Joseph Friel, passed away September 4, 2026.
A native of Duncan, South Carolina, daughter of the late Ralph and Edith Wilson DeShields, she was a retired employee from Adidas Distribution Center and was a member of Woods Chapel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Natalie Smith (Ryan) of Reidville; two brothers, Carson DeShields (Linda) of Lyman and Thomas DeShields (Jenny) of Duncan; one sister, Betty Jo Skelton (Reggy) of Duncan; one sister-in-law, Carolyn DeShields of Duncan; and two grandchildren, Aspen and Avery Smith.
She was also predeceased by one brother, Austin DeShields.
The family will receive friends at 3 p.m. Sept. 13 at the home.
