Margaret Dillard White, 95, passed away peacefully at her home March 29, 2026. Margaret was born Sept. 12, 1930, in Spartanburg, SC. She retired from Michelin and Company and dedicated her life to her family.
Margaret leaves behind sons Michael and Allen White and daughter Mary Edwards, as well as her beloved sister, Shirley Shirah.
She also leaves behind a granddaughter, Brandy Pugh (Steve), great grandchildren, Alexis (Carlos), Jessica, Amber (Austin), and Devon Stewart. She also leaves behind six great, great grandchildren, Kylie Jones, Tristan Acosta, Taylor Acosta, Kinsley Acosta, Braylee Owens, Zayden Brannon, and Nova Baxter whom she loved dearly.
Margaret is preceded in death by her husband E.H. White, parents Medith Dillard and Oscar Dillard, siblings, Frances Poole, Oscar Dillard Jr., John Dillard, Betty Long, Charles Dillard, and Kenneth Dillard along with one son, Curtis White and granddaughter, Tonya Stewart.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital or a charity of your choice.
A private service will be held.
