Marion W. Wood, 86, passed away Dec. 28, 2025.
A native of Greer, SC, son of the late Charlton and Janie Waddell Wood, he was a Veteran of the South Carolina Army National Guard, retired from Carotell Paper, and of the Methodist faith.
Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Dale Atkins Wood, of Greer; two daughters, Stacy Owens (Johnny) of Waterloo, South Carolina and Mechelle Rozema of Columbia, South Carolina, a son Brandon Wood (Karina) of Spartanburg, South Carolina; and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Wood was predeceased by a sister, Jane Millwood.
A Cryptside service will be held at 2 p.m. Jan. 2 at Hillcrest Memory Gardens Mausoleum by Rev. Joe Price.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Jan. 2 at The Wood Mortuary.
The family will be at their respective homes.
