Ms. Morgan A. York, daughter of the late Terri A. York and Alvin York, passed Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025.Â
Morgan was a 2016 graduate of James F. Byrnes High School. After high school, she received her Certificate in Phlebotomy from Spartanburg Community College. She worked for Spartanburg Medical Center and Home Depot. In her spare time, she enjoyed taking care of her kids and watching movies.
Morgan will forever be cherished in the hearts of those left behind; including her daughters, Kylie Alecis Middleton and Kaylyn Anita Middleton both of Spartanburg, SC; her father, Alvin York of Spartanburg, SC; her boyfriend, Kelvonte Middleton of Spartanburg, SC; her aunts, Dr. Tracey (Mario) Miller of Duncan, SC, Rhonda Nelson of Hixson, TN and Deborah Thoms of Greenville, SC; along with a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother Terri York; her beloved dog Peanut; maternal grandmother Nettie Thoms and her paternal grandparents Walter York and Evelyn York.
Funeral service will take place at noon Dec. 27 at Mt. Pilgrim Missonary Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Public viewing will take place from 3 to 6 p.m. Dec. 26 at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary.
