Patricia "Pat" Hammett, 82, wife of the late Cecil Clyde Hammett, passed away September 10, 2026.
A native of Greer, daughter of the late Edward Wallace “Ed” and Laura Sellers Medford, she was a retired employee of Springs Industries and a member of Apalache Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Ronnie Scott Hammett of Greer; a daughter-in-law, Judy Hammett; four grandchildren, D.J., Darren, Tyler, and Cody; and seven great-grandchildren, Lexi, Liam, Riley, Landon, Lilly, Luke, and Isa.
Mrs. Hammett was predeceased by a son, Donnie Hammett, Sr.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Sept. 18 at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Dr. Keith Kelly. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
