Samuel Chase Walden, age 33, of Spartanburg South Carolina, passed away on Feb. 7, 2026.
Born on April 26, 1992 in Ozark, Alabama, Chase was known for his love for his family and his passion for auto body repair.
Chase is survived by his son, Jase Orion Walden, his parents, Emmett Samuel Walden (April Mims Walden) Susanne Prine Walden (Jose Lopez Rios), his siblings Tamara Gatlin Ksor (Daniel Ksor) Whitney Laurel Gatlin, Emmett Ryan Walden (Paige Walden), and 2 sisters, Courtney Lynn Jenkins bn(Nathan Jenkins), Haleigh Mims Johnson (Brannon Johnson), maternal grandparents, Belva and Gene Prine; paternal grandparent James Dwight Mims; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Bonnie Walden Cornelison and Debra Echols Mims; and great uncle and aunt, John Ray, and Annette Ray.
Services are being planned at Jackson Chapel, 1420 Yellowleaf Road, Clanton Alabama and at Covenant Baptist Church, 200 Evangel Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301. Dates and times are to be determined and will be updated on this website as we get information.
