In Loving Memory of Sheila Young
Sheila Robin Young, 65, passed away September 11, 2026. A native of Greer, daughter of Jack P. Young, JR. and the late Dorothy (Dot) Faye Nalley Young, she was an Attorney and a member of Liberty Hill Methodist Church, Greer.
Sheila was a truly extraordinary person whose life was rooted in her love for the Lord and her love for people. Her faith was not simply something she believed—it was something she lived. Through her ministry in the Bahamas and in her local community, Sheila shared the love of Christ and helped lead many people to Him.
She was a devoted wife, beloved sister, aunt, daughter, in-law, treasured friend, and caring co-worker. Sheila had a generous heart and a way of making people feel welcomed, valued, and loved. She loved to travel, enjoyed meeting people and experiencing new places, and took great pride in her work as a tax preparer.
More than anything, Sheila will be remembered for the lives she touched. She gave of herself freely, encouraged others, and left a little bit of her light wherever she went.
Sheila will be deeply missed by her husband, family, friends, co-workers, and the many people whose lives were changed by knowing her. Her time with us was a gift, and her legacy of faith and love will remain in our hearts.
She loved the Lord. She loved people. And she made a difference.
Surviving in addition to her father are her husband, Bruce Stewart Dunham of the home; two sisters, Teresa Young Murray and Tarra Shawn Young both of Greer; a niece Hannah Murray; a nephew, Jordan Henderson; and her stepmother, Susan Young.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at Liberty Hill Methodist Church.
