Shelby Jean Bowers Miller, 84, wife of the late Gary Lee Miller, passed away September 30, 2026.
A native of Greenville County, South Carolina, daughter of the late Maryland B. and Julia Slatton Bowers, she was a member of Milford Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Jeannie Miller Pittman (Milton) of the home; a brother, Ricky Bowers (Jill) of Taylors, South Carolina; two sisters, Myrtle Cox of Greenville, South Carolina and Lisa Murray (Mack) of Taylors, South Carolina; three grandchildren, Haley Hughes Walker (Asa), Zoeie Hughes, and Nikolaei Creasy; and a great-grandson, Asa J. Walker.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Trudy Creasy and a brother, Steve “Samson” Bowers.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Oct. 5 at Milford Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Dr. Keith Kelly.
