Mrs. Willie Mae Land Duncan, born May 5, 1927, stepped into glory on the morning of September 10, 2026, at age 99, in her home in Inman, South Carolina.

Mrs. Duncan loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ above all, and faithfully prayed for her family and community until the day she was called home. She was the oldest member of her home church, Holly Springs Baptist Church in Inman, South Carolina.

She is survived by her sister, Joan Sosebee, her children Joyce White (David), Darrell Duncan (Dianne), Donnie Duncan (Teresa), and daughter-in-law, Ginger Duncan. She had eight grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and eight great great-grandchildren. There are many family members who affectionately called her Nanny.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Duncan, her son, James Ralph Duncan, her parents, Lee and Mae Land, brothers, James Land, Roy Land, Floyd Land, Ray Land, Gary Land, and Wilber (Pete) Land, and a great-grandchild Braxton Priddy.

A visitation will be held from noon to 1:15 p.m. Sept. 14 at The Wood Mortuary.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sept. 14 at Tyger Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Dr. Tim Clark and Rev. Ben Whitmire.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lottie Moon Christmas Fund at Holly Springs Baptist Church, 251 Hannon Road, Inman, SC 29349.
