Yvonne Cantrell Simpson, 74, wife of the late Douglas Leon Simpson, passed away Feb. 9, 2026.
A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Vernon Lee and Aldean Stokes Cantrell; she was a retired employee of Greenville County, and member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Mark Simpson and his wife, Irina, of Greer; two brothers, Michael Lee Cantrell and his wife, Maudene, of Greer and Edwin Cantrell and his wife, Denise of Landrum; and two grandchildren, Nicholas Simpson and Alexandra Simpson.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Feb. 13 at Mount Lebanon Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Mark Smith and Rev. David Walker. Burial will follow at Mount Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Feb. 13 at the church.

The family will be at the home of her brother, Michael Lee Cantrell.
